Bill Adams is the Chief Sustainability Officer and Senior Vice President, Canadian Pulp Operations at Mercer International Inc., leading the company’s integrated sustainability strategy and overseeing operations at the Peace River, Alberta and Castlegar, British Columbia pulp mills. Career experience spans 38 years across engineering, manufacturing excellence, sustainability strategy, and corporate development in Canada, the United States, and Germany.

Bill previously held leadership roles with Weyerhaeuser, Domtar, and Canfor, and currently serves on several industry and research boards supporting sustainable forestry, bio-based innovation, and clean energy development.
