BIOGRAPHY

Hazel Plana is a project manager at TC Energy with nearly 20 years of experience in the energy industry. Her work focuses on delivering decarbonization projects within the subsurface space, encompassing carbon capture, transportation, utilization, and sequestration across the CCUS project lifecycle.

Hazel serves as the subsurface lead on the Alberta Carbon Grid project, working with a multidisciplinary team of geophysicists, reservoir engineers, geologists, and well engineers. Her earlier career spanned over 10 years, executing large-scale natural gas pipeline projects.
