Richard Hares is the Vice President of Decarbonization and Facilities at Sproule, leading global consulting and advisory services in carbon management, CCUS, and the energy transition. He works with clients to design tailored decarbonization pathways and identify commercial opportunities in low-carbon solutions, including CCS investment and risk assessments, CCUS transaction due diligence, and feasibility studies.

Richard brings deep expertise in CO₂ sequestration modelling, containment risk assessment, lifecycle analysis, and strategic evaluation of carbon capture technologies across the energy sector.
